About Select Soccer
  • Teams are selected in May and June for the following soccer year
  • Tryouts are held and players are selected by the trainer under the supervision of the Director of Training
  • Travel is necessary for away games
  • Qualifying tournaments for Division I and Super II are during the summer - usually July
  • Players are required to support Club fund raising
  • Division I and Super II teams need a higher level of commitment
  • Select teams have assigned professional trainers
  • All teams must use only CSSC approved trainers
  • CSSC has verified the background, licenses and skills of all approved trainers to provide consistent training
Tryout Inoformation
  • Tryouts are held and players are selected by the trainer under the supervision of the Director of Training
  • Players should attend tryouts, arriving 20 minutes early to make sure paperwork is complete
  • Players should be dressed to play soccer
  • Each player needs to bring a ball, water and MUST have shin guards
Registration & Costs
    Centex Storm select has an annual non-refundable resistration fee for the entire seasonal year for players. Uniform costs are additional.
    The annual non-refundable registration fee will be collected in payments:
  • First payment is due at the time of registration
  • Second payment is due on August 1st
  • Third payment is due on October 1st
  • Fourth payment is due on January 15th
  • These fees include but not limited to:
  • field, player, liability and other insurance costs
  • registration and sanctioning fees to CAYSA, STYSA, and USYS
  • field usage fees
  • referee costs for league games
  • club administration, field and club equipment
  • player training fees
In addition, each team collects monthly dues (usually $25) to cover internal team costs such as trainer reimbursement fees, team training equipment or tournament costs. Get full information from your team before contracting.
Items needed at the time of registration:
  • USYSA registration form
  • Medical Release Form
  • Clear copy of players official birth certificate (if not already on file)
  • Small picture for Player ID card
  • Registration check made payable to your team
